We've been having absolutely stunning sunsets the last few nights so decided to go down to Alki in W.Seattle to take photos. The weather was perfect, the sky gorgeous, a great end to a great day. D picked this one as the best cuz he liked the ring around the sun.

This blog started a couple years ago with my first attempt to complete a picture a day for a year. I made it into August but with quite a few misses in the last couple months. This year I've been inspired to try again.
My goals with the 365 project are to improve both my eye for noticing the unusual or pretty (even in the mundane) as well as to improve my skills. That means taking the camera off auto more often!
